What is West Lake?

West Lake is a serialized work of fiction. Set in the fictional community of West Lake located in New York.

What's with the actor photographs?

Actors pictures are there to help the reader visually see a fictional character. If West Lake were to be put onto the screen in some way the actors/actresses I have chosen would be the closest thing to who I would see in the role.

Who is writing all this?

That would be me, Kelly Zollo. I’m 26, married no kids currently. Writing has been my passion for years, my hobby and relaxation tool. When I am not writing I am in school to finish up my degree, hanging with friends and my husband.

Do you do this yourself?

West Lake is written by myself and no other author all ideas, graphics and site design belong to myself please do not steal them. Rebecca Nunez of Independence Day was kind enough to edit and proof the first episode of the series.

Whatever happened to Dangerous Tides?

Dangerous Tides was officially canceled and will not be returning to the web anytime soon. I may eventually get some sort of site up for it again but for the moment the series has been shelved.

What do I need to do if I want to link to your site?

The links section under extras has a choice of 3 different buttons to chose from to link back to me.

Why is there no traditional biography with the characters?

In order to keep up with the mystery and suspense of the series and to not give blatant clues I felt it best not to include one. Not to say that I may or may not add one later down the road but for now it is not in the cards. There is a series highlight section in the character information page that will be updated for each as the story progresses.

Is this going to become a book/TV show?

Currently, no but the option is always open to discussion.

Can I use your pictures/banners/etc?

I will ask that you do not steal my work as far as my banners and graphics. I spend a lot of time on them and they are my creation. Should you want to have something to link back to me visit the links section to get a button. Do not steal my work.

How long will the series last?

When the last story for the series has been told.
